That’s why we need to have a clear policy, to ensure that business runs smoothly and you, along with everyone else, receive the beauty treatment at the time you made your appointment at  A Touch of Elegance Hair Salon

ARRIVE ON TIME

Arriving on time, or 5 minutes before your appointment, ensures that you don’t miss a single minute of your treatment. Also helps with social distancing because you're here in your allotted time frame. We can’t keep others waiting for their service, just as you wouldn’t like to be kept waiting! Being late affects everyone, please be considerate of your time as well as others. 

24-HOUR BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

As an independent Latina Female-owned business, we thank you for your consideration of our 24-hour cancellation policy. Our booking policy doesn’t only protect our business but also affects our "affordability" and ensures fair treatment to all our clients. 

Please book carefully. No-shows and last-minute cancellations mean that other clients cannot book into that time slot and it wastes the time and expertise of our highly trained professionals 

A credit card will be required to book your appointment.

We understand that sometimes bookings need to be changed, so you will be allowed to change your booking as long as you give us 24 hours' notice. Your credit card will be charged 25% - 50% depending on the service booked when you don't show up, or don't cancel before the 24-hour policy. 

If it is within 24 hours and you cannot attend your appointment, you may either send a friend or family member to take your slot or unfortunately be charged a % of the service booked.  

Text messages are not the best form of communication when canceling or changing your appointment because they can be missed.

It is preferred you call with more than 24 hours of your appointment to cancel.  Messages left on Saturdays, Tuesdays, events, or public holidays will only be regarded as reviewed the morning of the next business day that we are open.

SECURITY

Your credit card number or gift certificate number will secure your appointment. Your credit card will only be used if you fail to change or cancel your appointment within at least 24 hours of your appointment, as per our cancellation policy

BUY 3 GET 1 FREE

These are what we call a “series” of treatments. They are 3 of the same service paid upfront to get a 4th one free. These are approximately a 30% discount depending on the product or service; and therefore can not be combined with any other offer, including discounted vouchers.

GROUPON

Before purchasing a Groupon please verify by calling the salon at 908-392-1303.  If your Groupon expires it will become a credit for the amount paid to Groupon, the discounted offer is no longer valid.

The credit cannot be transferred.  If you book your appointment with us, you still need to use your Credit Card.  It will not be charged unless you don't show up for your appointment

BEAUTY FREQUENCY PROGRAM

-Points can only be redeemed on single treatments only, not packages.

-You can only build points by shopping at  A Touch of Elegance Salon – NOT online.

-Points can only be redeemed on full-price treatments and excludes packages, courses, and promotions.

-Frequency points cannot be used with any other offer.

-Points must cover the selected service/treatment & cannot be used as cash.

-Points are only valid with salon owners' discretion/criteria.

-Does not include Series packages as these are already discounted.

-Can not be used or generated on contractor services.

-Points can be redeemed for one service per transaction

-Clients can’t redeem on products

As a custom of A Touch of Elegance at 65 Park Ave Summit NJ 07901,  I hereby release the salon A Touch of Elegance in Summit NJ from any legal action arising from services rendered on or off location. I understand that the services provided were performed to the best of the salon's ability and as a customer willingly accept the results.

As a customer or person receiving services from A Touch of Elegance, I have been fully informed of the potential risks and hazards associated with the services provided, and I as a customer assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur as a result of these services. I hereby release the salon, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries or damages that may result from the services provided.

As a customer, I understand that this release is binding and will remain in effect for the duration of any legal action arising from the services provided at the salon.  I understand and agree to all terms above as soon as I enter the salon and have any service rendered.
